24 Feb Second Story of the IMHS Lodge
Crews started work last week on the second story of the Iron Mountain Hot Springs lodge. The views are going to be spectacular! Red Mountain will take over your views while relaxing in pure mineral water. We made a lot of progress during the unseasonably warm weather in early and mid-February. Excavation is complete on the freshwater family pool! The family pool will be a perfect spot for all family members. The 16 mineral pools are delicate and untreated waters to preserve the natural mineral content. The mineral pools will complete a total changeover every two hours. Which is why children 5 and under are not permitted in those pools. Small children can enjoy the warm waters of the family pool and splash and play as their parents watch them while enjoying a relaxing soak in the attached jetted spa with a beautiful cascading waterfall. Everything is on track for an early summer opening. Stay tuned for more updates on our grand opening announcement! We are very excited on the progress of our second story lodge and to welcome guests to relax, restore and rejuvenate.
