Iron Mountain Hot Springs Grand Opening

Iron Mountain Hot Springs celebrated its Grand Opening in Glenwood Springs. Situated alongside the beautiful Colorado River in Glenwood Springs and surrounded by Rocky Mountain views that soothe and inspire, our 16 geothermal soaking pools offer guests a pure soaking experience—the way nature intended. Our freshwater family pool is cooler and ideal for all ages. An attached elevated jetted spa provides yet another opportunity to relax. Thoughtful amenities are built in throughout: towel tree sculptures at each soaking pool, changing rooms stocked with complimentary shower products and a restaurant that serves food and drinks adds to the ambiance.

There are more than 14 different minerals found in the analysis of the water at the Iron Mountain Hot Springs. The five most abundant minerals in the soaking pools are iron, sulfate, chloride, sodium and calcium. Iron and sulfate are known for their relaxing qualities.

Our mineral water in the small 16 pools is untreated and unfiltered to preserve the healing properties of the minerals that it contains. Our water contains a natural white colored algae that thrives on the minerals found in the water. This algae aids in moisturizing skin allowing for better absorption of healing minerals. Each pool has a continuous flow of water, and the entire body of water is replaced every two hours.
