Excavation for the Family Pool is Complete
Progress is happening at Iron Mountain Hot Springs, the excavating for the family pool at Iron Mountain Hot Springs is complete! Located on the western portion of the Iron Mountain Hot Springs property in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, the family pool will be the largest of our pools, designed to keep the whole clan happy. It will be approximately 70′ x 35’ with 100,000 gallons of chlorinated fresh water, heated to a comfortable 95 degrees by the geothermal exchange. Excavating for the family pool will provide a smaller, elevated pool, approximately 18′ x 8’, will sit on the edge of the family pool with a perfect soaking temperature above 100. You can enjoy the calming sounds of a waterfall in the background as water cascades from the upper to the lower section. A gently curving ramp with a handrail will provide a gradual entrance into the freshwater family pool for those in wheelchairs or anyone who prefers to avoid steps. An aquatic wheelchair will be available onsite. Parents will be able to enjoy the hotter water while supervising their children below.
